What degree can you receive?
IWU offers two aviation degrees — one associate and one bachelor’s option. Both programs provide flight training through us, along with quality online coursework to prepare students for a career in the aviation field. Depending on the path, a student might pursue airline pilot, captain, or trainer positions. Management students might pursue leadership careers in an assortment of aviation fields. Both degrees lead to the following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificates:
- Private Pilot Airplane – Single-Engine Land
- Commercial Pilot – Airplane-Single-Engine Land
- Instrument Rating Airplane
- Certified Flight Instructor
- Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument
- Commercial Pilot – Airplane Multiengine (optional add-on)
