FLIGHT SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Private Pilot Ground School
- Ground school is the first step to make earning your pilot’s license a reality. You’ll learn about aerodynamic, FAA regulations, incident reporting and more to get you ready to take flight.
Flight Time
- Upon completing ground school, the Private Pilot License requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight experience (20-hour minimum with a certified flight instructor) per the FAA.
- We strive to get the training completed in 40 hours, but actual hours depend on proficiency. The national average is 55 hours.
Certified Flight Instructor Course
- Make a difference and help others discover their love for flying!
- This course includes:
- Ground school
- Pre-post flight briefings
- Flight instruction in a Piper Arrow IV (up to 10-hours of flight time)
- Examiners fees
- Does NOT include FOI or FIA written exams
Commercial Pilot License
- Acquiring a commercial pilot license offers a wider range of possibilities, like earning money, and freedom to fly a wider variety of aircrafts.
- All requirements are set forth by FAR 1.129
- Jeff Air Pilot Services can help you gain the right training, preparation and experience to fulfill commercial flight requirements and standards.
Instrument Rating
- As an Instrument-Rated pilot, you will have the skill and knowledge to take advantage of the air traffic control system (must have a private pilot license).
Testing Center
- Jeff Air Pilot Services is proud to be a PSI testing center. This means we provide the training, flight time and administer the FFA test you need to obtain your license. We are able to test any FAA requirement.
