INDIANAPOLIS, IN (February 22, 2022) – Do you know any high schoolers who are unsure of what flight path to take? Jeff Air Pilot Services, a local flight school, is offering a Career Fair and Open House to share more about aviation career options and how they can enjoy a successful, rewarding career in the sky.
The career fair will be hosted on Saturday, April 2nd, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Indy South Greenwood Airport, 847 Airport Pkwy Greenwood, IN 46143. Along with Jeff Air sharing their flight school options, representatives and aviation industry leaders from Indiana Wesleyan University, PSA Airlines, GoJet, Mesa Airlines, PlaneSense, United States Navy, United States Air Force, United States Army, United States Marines and others will also be in attendance to provide information about flight school programs and answer questions students may have. The career fair is free to the public.
“With airlines like Delta and United grounding planes and canceling flights because there are not enough staff, it’s clear we have a pressing pilot shortage and high demand for aviation professionals,” David Jeffries, owner of Jeff Air Pilot Services, said. “We are excited to offer this event to local students and show them the great benefits and amazing careers they can create and enjoy in aviation.”
